The Integration Bee is PhySoc IIT Kharagpur’s premier annual calculus tournament, inspired by the renowned collegiate math bees. It brings together undergraduate and postgraduate students from all departments to put their integration prowess, analytical agility, and creative problem-solving techniques to the test against tricky, non-trivial integrals under strict time constraints.

Competition Format

Rule Book of Integration Bee IIT Kharagpur 2026

Preliminary Round

Written test: 20 integrals in 45 minutes
Top 16 scorers qualify for playoffs

Playoffs

Parallelly two students will solve integrals on boards
The one who solves early will get 1 point
Whoever will have more points will win.

Round 1: 16 → 8 (total 5 integrals)
Round 2: 8 → 4 (total 5 integrals)
Semifinal: 4 → 2 (total 7 integrals)
Final: 2 → Champion (total 7 integrals)

Shift 1 Timings: 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM
Shift 2 Timings: 5:15 PM – 6:00 PM
Venue: to be emailed

Play off: 11th October ( 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM)
